First of all let me state my screen name has been my screen name for years, but I am currently not working. Still a dude but just unemployed. I live in Rhode Island where I am a licensed arborist. There is a high demand for experienced arborists in New England and I would have a job if I hadn't been hurt at work in June of 2011. The result was two broken arms. I'd be happy to post pics of the reconstructions if you'd like. Just ask!
Anyway, I am older than 20 and married to a wonderfull woman who took care of me when I had two broken arms. Yes, she fed me, no big deal. But when I had to poop she was there to wipe me too. Of course she swallows!
Best thing of all is our new daughter. We agreed on the name Roxanne. She was conceived while I was injured and born in August. Here's a then and now.
Sorry I deleted the pics....
To say I am a proud papa would be an understatement.
The state of RI was the 11th state to legalize medicinal marijuana use. In RI, medicine is not taxed. Patients are allowed to grow 12 budding plants and 12 immature (veg) plants. Also, by designating my wife as my caregiver, we are allowed to grow an additional 12 and 12. Here's where the law gets screwy. My wife and I are allowed to possess 24 mature plants. However, we are only legally able to possess a total of 5 ounces total smokable medicine. Obviously one harvest, just about any way you do it, will result in exceeding the legal limit. So what to do?
I believe as Coloado and Washington document the tax revenue earned by legalized use for adults, RI will amend the laws to begin pulling revenue out of it's sale, medical or otherwise. What you might not know about Rhode Island is that we are the smalest state in the US. We are wedged in between Boston and New York city like a pebble in your shoe. Our state, not unlike many others, is known for it's corruption. In a state so small cronyism is a long standing tradition. The pols are jockying to set there friends up in future state santioned Caompassion Centers. The largest, Thomas C Slater Compassion Center, is a non-profit who's board of directors includes the former attorny genral, and the former Pawtucket Chief of Police. Yes, these are non profit centers but operational costs include six figure saleries for those in the inner circles.
Enough about my state, this is about me. In Rhode Island patients are allowed to designate two care givers. My wife is one, my other is an established operation currently growing Grape God, Cheese Quake, Super Lemon Haze, Jack Herer #1 & #2, Purple Pine Cone, and something called Jet Fuel which is supposed to be testing at 23% THC. The current price of any one of these per ounce is $220. Of course my favorite changes from week to week. Right now I am smokeing the Grape God regular. The taste is out of this world.
Well, that's about all I can tell you. If you have any questions or advice on my NEW GROW OLD CABINET thread, feel free.
