You throw some seeds in a can of moist garbage they will sprout. Doesn't mean they will be happy haha. The seedlings..are from crap Mexican brick weed and
I Don't excepect much ...I just wanted to see if seeds would sprout just tossing them in moist soil...every single one germinated in the crappy true value dirt lol!
Quick question ..I am in Boston, during the day I easily stay below 86*f at the tops of my plants ...but with my windows open the floor is closer 50 to 55*f
at night ,since my closet ,is on an outside wall so the temps get into the low 60s...are the varying night and day temps going to stress the plaants out ?and Do the plants stress out over the cool floor and warm tops during the day ??
Day and night temp variances aren't too big of a deal, try to stay within a 15 degree difference. Overall don't go below 60, or above 85 if you can help it. Get some fans blowing and it will help circulate air to even out temp. if you need to you can add a exhaust at the top of the grow area to duct hot air and blow it out of the grow area either into another room, an attic, or outside
During the night you could find a mini heater with a temp controller so it turns off when the room reaches 65. That's probably your best bet
