Hi all. First post. Quick question for you all... I recently purchased a Chameleon brand bowl from a head shop downtown. Paid almost $100 for it. About 4 inches long, nice, deep bowl. Took a drop from about 3 feet onto carpet (it was not hot/cold at all, hadn't been used yet actually) and shows no cracks or anything. Decently designed. I don't know how to find out if it's double/blown internally fumed/etc..how would I know this by looking at it? Also, anyone have anything good to say about the brand? I called them up after buying the piece and they seemed pretty knowledgeable, and their site has a lot of good info on it. I've never been much into brands for pieces and such, I mean the only ones I know of are Zen, Graphix, Roor, Volcano, Molino, and some others, but I've never heard of Chameleon until I went to this shop. Are there any other good brands to look for when buying mass-made pieces? I would LOVE to get a locally blown headies piece but those are stupid expensive...and I'd probably be too scared to ever use it. Anyway, thanks for looking, and hopefully responding.

I think the chamelon is just simply saying that the pipe is going to change colors after prolonged using. But not really sure...

I use kustom-blown pieces all the time. In fact that's almost all we have. I figure what's the use of having beautiful glass if it just sits on a shelf? Besides the expensive pipes just smoke better! I suspect because of superior design.
