Hi all,

and as you've probably gathered from the thread title my name is Rockster and am a currently UK based breeder that has been growing and making seeds for, er, nearly 4 decades and which puts me firmly in old fart territory!

I'm not long back from Spannabis 2012 in Barcelona where a great 3 day hemp expo was on and very well attended and I'll put up a thread about it shortly.

In joining Rollitup I hope to share things of interest with fellow growers and hopefully network with any breeders who have laid their hat here.

Welcome rockster,have heard glorious things about your cheese#1,great write up on it in treat yourself 32, got a pack of them as a freebie when I bought cheese quatro from seedsman, will be my next run,hoping to get a male cheese to cross with the f1 hybrid I am working on at the moment, some tga 3rd dimension(jacks cleaner pheno) x chemmy jones,(stinky compact male) will bx with the male then introduce some cheese,getting a cut of the real deal so if I get a keeper male of my cross can cross that with the real cheese too :D.Super dank fast flowering sativa mission

Well hi there dankerous!

Crack on with dusting with a Cheese#1 male as that carries the same genetic info as the Exodus female and for that reason is being used in loads of upcoming crosses.

How did you get on with the Quattro mixed pack?

Ah they are both recent purchases so I havent tested them yet,I was just looking for a regular cheese,and was happy to see that you did a few,being a uk head I get pissed off with all the cheesie afghan every one trys to palm off as cheese,all for the sake of yeild only takes common sense to cross it with a male skunk#1 :),but I shall be cracking some cheese#1 in 2 weeks time I think,the cheese quatro are more just stock for if I want to go digging for something different,for now my concentration is on my breeding project, got a male that stinks/had the tightest nodes I have seen on a male,and was shorter than the females of the same variety,with the mum I just got lucky as was aiming for a jacks cleaner lemon bleach pheno,and happened to pick the right one out of 5,looking forward to seeing what I end up with,while those seeds are drying out/having a winter period in the fridge I shall do some cheese#1 or I guess I could do the quatro,not got that far yet

I imagine if I find a nice female in one of the lots of cheese seeds I will probably dust her with a bit of the chemmy jones pollen I am going to store in the fridge,have obviously got back up cuttings of him too,but thought as pollen is viable for 3-6 months in the fridge may as well keep some and use it on the next lot of females I have,what is a few grams of bud to get a shit load of your own f1s

i went to barcelona long time ago nice place back in 79 loved the beaches

they still got all those campgrounds and rv parks on beach? when we were there was right after that huge fire in campground

Hi dankerous,

well I hope you find a bunch of nice Cheese#1 females to choose from as all pheno's are distinctly cheesy but with variations on a common theme, if you get my drift
as some are exactly like the 1989 UK original Exodus cheese cut whilst others a touch more earthy and others with full cheese flavour but with a hint of sweetness and it's the sweet pheno's
that have been found to be the most popular and I entered such a pheno in the 11th Canarias Cannabis Cup last year ( grown by Rizladon ) in Tenerife and I'm chuffed to say won 3rd prize in the Copa Pro or Pro Cup category
which was open to all comers including tropically grown Hazes and so to have won anything in such a strong field attests to how much the judges liked it and was very
surprised to have won a trophy at such a big venue.

So crack on with the love dust and I'll really look forward to how your crosses turn out.
