I was reading a forum re:Medicare today and a 69 yr old lady upon advice from a banker (for God's sakes) years ago, had never enrolled in Medicare A,B, or D, and now was faced with eternal late enrollment penalties. She had never done any due diligence or reading, but appeared to be educated from her forum interaction. If you're approaching retirement age and/or 65, please make sure you are aware of enrollment dates and milestones or get info from a qualified person

I don't have to take any meds, so I was just blissfully paying my Plan D premium and thought I was covered, for the most part, as far as meds go. Well... something else we have to be "experts" on:

Drug costs skyrocket for many older Americans, despite Medicare coverage.
Medicare drug costs soar.
Some of the largest increases are for drugs used to treat diabetes, hypertension and arthritis.

Well, 8F here this AM and I was wondering if my veh was going to turn over. 3 yr old, top of line battery and sounds like it may not make it thru the winter. Remember when, {{everyone sighs}}, it seemed like a battery would last 10 years? Probably don't have as much lead in them
