This is my first grow. I have settled on the auto AK-47 strain for the fast growing and small space use - seeds are on the way(customs have mercy). I want to grow indoors, around 4-6 plants at a time using CFL(s). I am not quite sure on how many CFL's I should use, and maybe the arrangment of them in the grow box. It seems 1-2 gallon pots work best with lowryder, I will probably get some 1 gallons for smaller space. Oh yeah I guess I should say I am using soil, with maybe a bit of small bits vermiculite, if I find perlite near here, I will be adding a decent amount of that. Any recommendations on certain pre packaged soils? Or maybe just dig some up and bake it? Also I was wondering what NPK ratio works best on these strains. Do you need to use different NPK ratios at different times for an auto-flowering plant? My last query was about ideal humidity(what is the value). I will be doing either 24 hour or 20 on 4 off light cycle for them, keeping decent ventilation and humidty. Any other things anyone want to add?

I'll be starting mine here soon too. Recommendation for soil from what I've read is Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil but youd have to buy that from a hydroponics store. And as well I believe that people have best results on a 18/6 light ratio but 20/4 would work as well. Yes you can still do 24 straight but it may cause the temperature to rise.

This lowryder still has about 23 days left to bud up, i use minimal amount of cfl, 150 actual watt at most

john inns (i think?) organic growing compost, bout 30 percent perlite, 10 percent vermaculite, for two weeks a organic grow liquid food product i used bio products you cant go wrong, 6 quid a grow and 6 quid a blow (as in bloom) that i used for 6 weeks and now coming on to last 2 weeks of life cycle. humidity dont let get below 40 at worst and to help this just keep couple glasses of water in the cubboard and keep them topped up! for plants to breath use vinegar and bit of baking soda say every 4 hours i fizzed mine up. cfl's dont expect massive yeilds but they do alright for potent pursy. Id recommend getting a normal lowryder first to get the hang of it as sometimes the crosses come with different pheno's and you dont know how unpredictable they can be with height, potency, yeild, autoflowering stable? etc etc. all in all there lovely happy plants that will grow healthy with a 20-4 hour cycle and maybe down to 18-6 into flowering without loss of yield and will not give you problems as much as say normal strains would. good luck with it!
