Hey guys got some questions about flowering

Hey all I constantly see pics of guys sayin their plants are 2 weeks into flowering and they ALREADY have some nice size buds.


Now my question is when people say this do they mean they're 2 weeks in to flowering since confirming the sex or do they have some killer set up that allows them to have nice buds 2 weeks after sexing?

I'm confused as hell and a bit stoned.

Help me out please....

if i was reading 2 weeks in flower i would think 2 weeks in 12/12

i'm no pro or anything but when i hear 2 weeks into flowering, that is from the time the lights are changed to flower mode (12/12). i have some right now that are 10 days into flowering and there are little buds beginning to form everywhere. i use foxfarm soil with botanicare pro gro/pro bloom mixed with liquid karma.

So then its just me then. lol nice to know because I'm 2 weeks exactly into 12/12 and I just got white hairs sprouting around the places where buds would be forming.

well it depends man may your plants hit maturity in those two weeks and just started to flower..mine have shown within two days to two weeks..2weeks is from the time they switch over to 12/12

i think that you count after the formation of the flowers.thats how i count.but i am not sure.haha.well maybe after the preflowers show themselves.but i dont think when you change to 12/12.well thats why you say flowering and preflowering period.when you change to 12/12 there is no flower so its preflowering.

also depends on the strain, some plants show sex while still in veg, some pure sativas don't show flowers until the 2nd or 3rd week or 12/12

well my indicas saw sex 2 days after i changed to 12/12 and in 5 days were little flowers.
