Very new and VERY confused to all this .... like 67 days ago when sprouted a little girl and as of today she's hanging high to dry....First ever....and a shit load of fun watching it grow. Sorry about the language but I get excited about it. Now we want to grow again but a bit more cause we don't want to wait till our money founds get better so we are going on a budget. We will be doing one of those standard seven foot upright grow boxes... top portion for flowering and bottom underneath for veggies.... 3 feet wide by 3 feet deep. My question is - if I use (two) 42watt 200w daylight CFL twist bulbs ( 2800L / 6500K each ) will this be good enough because I see that the grow CFLs that are rated at 125watts give off the same amount of Kelvin but the Lumens are much higher rated at 4820L. I have read everywhere on the net that the Lumens are the measurement of the total amount of VISIBLE light. So that said, with the small area we will be growing 3 plants at a time.... do you think we would show a better grow by using the stronger watts/and higher Lumens....?.... MAN! after looking at what I just wrote looks confusing before it gets submitted, Sorry but I told you in the beginning that I was confused.. so please try to make the best sense of this and let me know...and I haven't even smoked yet.
