Hey folks, Have question on flowering time taken before harvesting.

When your looking at the details of your seed that your about to germinate, and it says stuff like " Flowering 77 days " What does that mean ? 77 days till harvesting from sprouting your seeds or days when you switch over your lighting schedule to start the flowering stage...?

After the switch, unless it's an auto?

The number of days gets you in the ball park
once you get close to finish start using your pocket microscope and look at the trichromes

Yep, I gauge by flip, not by when flowers start. Now I'm on a perpetual, so it is 63 days no matter what, but thankfully both my strains are perfect under the scope at this time.

I bought a 40x loupe on eBay for literally $4, and $4 for shipping. I also have a $40 60-100x scope, but I find it useless to be honest.
