Hey so breeding is currently going to be my new hobby. I have 3 different blueberry strains I want to muck around with to get the most dominant smells, looks and taste from them (blueberry smell, look and taste)
I thought I'd join this site to get a little more information about it all. Keep safe fullas!!

Do you have males and females and or seeds?

Hey man, I have a bunch of feminized seeds. But I have three regular seeds that I'll be hunting through for the males. The regular seeds I have are of some blueberry x sourbubble. Also some valley ghash. I have at the moment plenty of females. I have also a Afghani clone, a g13 x diesel clone and some green crack.. But it's the blueberry strains I shall be focusing on.

But won't you need a non hybrid bluberry male? Or are you planning on forcing the females to hermie? I'm not sure how the whole breeding part works, never really read up much on it, but I thought it involved pollen boxes and cloning and back crossing to original parents and such?

I don't actually know a great deal. I just know that I have some feminized blueberry gum and blueberry twist seeds. I also have regular blueberry x sourbubble. I will hunt out the dominant blueberry male from these and chuck the pollen over my favorite chosen plant of blueberry gum and blueberry twist, just to see what happens. It is only really an interest that has lead me here. Perhaps I do need a non hybrid male but I am going to go ahead anyway. I can hope for a hermied one of the femd blueberry gum or blueberry twist seeds but I am really unsure on all of that...

Well, if you look under forums in advanced marijuana cultivation at the top of the page is a sub section called breeders paradise, perhaps the info you are looking for is there

Happy growing

I attempted breeding but realized I was way over my head. It takes a lot of work, documenting, patience etc., and I was way too busy in life to be able to breed properly. I thought it was pretty simple but I was wrong. Theres all kinds of "equations" if you want to call it that with different gene manipulations and isolations. When I move I will delve into it more. To solidify one strain of your own and make it stable could take 10+years and probably minimum 2-4 just a guess so its a commitment. I wish you luck and may I suggest a book from amazon on cannabis breeding, there is so much info to be given on the subject that you will definitely need something to refer back to all the time. There are a few really good breeders on this site and some very knowledgable members on that subject. Im still a beginner and hope to become a pro some day. Good Luck.

Hey man, yip I've been reading a cannabis breeding book, I've mucked around with horticulture for a few years, I'm just currently looking for the selected parents. The breeding will be happening when I am sussed in my new place too... I only have time to get this down. Thanks to !

Cross it with a sativa-leaning hybrid, this is Blueberry x Jack The Ripper, or Blue Ripper...

Looks beautiful Gro.. how long does it flower for after having the sativa added to?
Thanks, it's a good one, nice production too, like 1 oz. per gallon of medium. Have 2 phenos, one sat-dom which is the one shown and finishes in 54-56 days. The other is indica-dom and finishes in 58-60 days. I have this up to F2's, doing a hunt right now and some nice smelling plants coming up. Good mix.
