Hey fellow smokers love this site lots of info. just starting a cfl grow lots of mixed reveiws nothing ventured nothing gained right well we'll see . anyone have any tips?? check out my pics.

are you gonna use a table or shelf of some kind to get your plants close to the cfls. Cfl'/s are basically useless if too far away. I my self keep them a few inches from the plant with good air flow to prevent burning. Good luck and the room looks sweat. Peace

my veg plants are a foot away from the lights , on the veg side i have 4 23w cfls they seem happy leafs are pointing up nice dark fan leafs im using 20-20-20 at half dose right now i bump it up a liitle every week.

I attached fixtures to a 2X4 and hung it with chains from the ceiling of my box, problem solved.

Here is a good (and obvious) fix for you. Put a phonebook under your pots to move the closer. As they grow downsize to a few mags or something (mine prefered playboy..ha).
