They do very well outside. Some strains have a low tolerance to bugs and mold, so try to select a strain of auto that is hardy. Green Crack Auto did well outside for me. As well as Purple Cheese Auto.

I start first batch indoors on spring solstice. Put out in early May. Start second batch then.

I got a crappy marine climate at high latitude, two crops are easy with autos
With 6 months of "perma-spring"
