Herming after repeatedly cloned.

Love potion from reeferman genetics grown from seed, had two different phenos, one I really liked.
After the first go I reveg the original and took clones for others.
The reveg flowered a second time went alright, except for two nanners lower on the plant. I picked off and finished her.

Reveg a second time and had begun flowering for the third time.
I got word that my clones had started to flower when groups of sacks where found throughout.
Checked my reveg in flower and sure enough groups of sacks under the buds forming as well.

Total bummer.

Is this what they mean by unstable genetics?
I've got two other strains that are clone only around here and have no issues. One I had cloned 5-6 times w no issues.

Any insightful thoughts?

clones are identical to the original plant, must be the reveg that's stressing them. It's normal for some strains to be more prone to herm

Only reveg I’ve ever done is if I take a clipping from a mom in flower which I try to avoid because it just takes longer. But once the reveg is done and in full on vegetative mode, I will clone from that plant, but the clones just grow like they normally would. I’ve never had herms this way. I can see how continuously revegging a plant can cause stress and eventually herm out though.

Great feedback everyone.
i appreciate it.
I was gung-ho about reveg, preserves a strain, multiple harvests off one root system, and I always thought it was so cool to reflower the same plant.
As well as monster clones and how they branch out so well.
Guess I learned something, and will have to let the love potion die out.
So to be sure I can keep strains and not do this again let's clarify.IMG_9283.JPG
If I had only taken cuts in veg and no reveg , so just regular clones, cloning clones;
Do you think I could I have avoided it going herm?

That’s pretty much what I do. I only keep moms around if I really like the strain and don’t have any seeds left. But cloning a clone is pretty much the way to go, just make sure it’s still in veg and you’ll be good. One thing to keep in mind is that having a crop full of the same strain is prone to disease, I never understood that but it’s true, happened to me, so try to keep different strains growing together.

Thanks again for helping clarify!
Wish I knew this earlier.
That LP is something else, sweet and tangy, a great daytime buzz.
