I dont know what they look like but supposedly they will flower or pre-flower as females, but in the middle of the cycle they turn to hermis and start growing male pods and seeds. But like when you buy feminized seeds, those are from originally female plants that have been hermaphrodized into males, and as a result they produce tiny seeds. The seeds are culled and sold at a premium price because the seeds are said to retain the sex of the original plant, which should guarantee a female. However this is disputed because although you have a female seed, you have also now passed down the trait of sporadic hermaphrodism to these female seeds, which is not desirable. A lot of factors like abrupt lighting and temperature changes induces hermis, which i am way over my head in.

i had a plant that turn hermie on me.

It looked normal my main cola was still all female and look really nice. I never saw a hermie or knew what one look like before in my life but as i was looking through my SOG i spotted a branch shotting up to the light(like a male characteristic)which is weird and as i got closer i see male pods on it.

thats because i killed it right away. Oh yea, and one more thing, i check my grow everyday look at them and i didn't notice it till the next day. The side branch that reached for the light was like 5 inch taller then all the other plants that's how i spotted it.

you should have grown it outside or smething to see what happens... I'm feeling like light poioning a plant to make it hermie just to see what they look like when their big!

do male plants that turn hermie look diferent from females that turned hermie???
Yeah they have male dominant male features loads of balls and not to many hairs,i have forced my best male to go hermie at this moment as i want to keep its pollen line for definite and sometimes frozen pollen ends up no good.
I don't think my crappy camera will be able to pick out the small amount of female hairs on it yet though or i would post a pic for you.
The intention is for me to end up with seeds that are basically almost the same male:blsmoke:
