Well, after reading tons of information on female/male plants, I'm no longer concerned with being able to identify them. My new concern is being able to detect a herm!
When will a plant 'go herm'? Meaning, if after the first two weeks of flower I see no bananas, is it safe to assume the plant will 'stay female'? Or do I need to thoroughly check the plant for bananas for the entire flowering phase?
Beyond this, is there any way to detect herms other than the mixed flowers? I'm paranoid that I'll somehow miss a banana on a herm and end up with a ruined crop!
Thanks for any help you can give.
