Hermie?

So I think my "biggest" plant is a Hermie but need reassurance..

I found what looked like an immature male flower last night before lights out and got paranoid so I cut it off. Today I went over it and found another one so I took a pic. The first one are what a lot of calyxes on it look like, they have a white seam almost like it's seeded but there's no seeds in them. Second pic has the suspected male flower.

If they are female pistils will appear in a day or two. Tight emerging buds have worried me from time to time. I think they are female myself.

Welp. Too late. To be honest I'm not too worried about losing it even though it was large because it was a bagseed and it was also very clearly sativa dominant

My tent was very stuffed before this. Now my remaining two White Russians have much more breathing room

Well. When you're over 5 weeks into flower and over half the plant isn't visible to the eye, yes, pollen could explode any second if there's a developed naner that I don't see. Not a big deal chopping it down, at all. Still have 2 large plants

Why would I risk the entire grow that includes two perfect big White Russians for a sativa dominant bagseed? That's just dumb

I understand your position and def wouldnt want to ruin a crop cause of a hermie..... but you came here, asked a question and chopped it down before even getting an answer from the experienced growers here.

I think the bud looked fine and it sucks that you put time and effort into growing that plant out well, only to discard it without even waiting for an answer.

Hence my patience comment.

best of luck with your russians tho, hope they turn out great for you.

Because we want you to learn not be spoonfed.

Alls good as long as you keep the rest for harvest imo :-)

Well as I'm going through her today I found an almost fully matured seed in it so again, I'm glad I chopped it down.

The tent was stuffed with that in there anyway. I should get more than I need to last me a full grow period from the two remaining

But yet you have but one seed, your advice and experience contradict each other.....

:-)
I have "only one seed" as far as I know because I chopped early.. if I had let it go it very well could have pollinated the other two. And just because I don't have much experience does that make what I said any less true? No, it doesn't

Looks to me like you have more than one seed. It's hard to tell from that picture but the first one looks like multiple seeds forming. I've made so many seeds and pollinated so many plants that I've seen early seed formation and can easily identify it. If that's going on with one plant it's likely that the other plants will have seeds as well. Should have just finished it out. Did you examine it closely after chopping? My guess is that you'll find more immature seeds in the bud. I could be completely wrong. All I have is a couple pictures to look at so just want to get that out there as well.

I've marked the first picture with suspected seed sites. The picture is much larger when downloaded than what's displaying on this page and after downloading the resolution was better..
