Yeah what he said. And if you know what a male looks like, balls at the internodes, and you see balls on your female... you got a chick with a dick, or balls in this case. In the later stages they will throw "nanners" and they look like little tiny bananas, hence the nickname, coming out of your buds.

When they are mixed in with your bud u should be able to spot them easily, depending on how far in flower you are.

I'm on day 22 and I will post pics as soon as I can I am not currently able to. Can you guys give me a little info on what kind of stress will cause hermies and what type/how much stress is to much stress so much that it can cause Hermies? Like can humidity issues cause hermies? Temps to cold at night? And so on. Just some general info on what to avoid as far as stressing then out and what is most common type of stress that causes this dreadful problem. Thanks guys you are awesome !!!

Messing up your light cycle or light leaks will do it. I think I think its pretty much genetics but stress will bring it out. What type of stress? Some strains handle different stresses better than others, its hard to say what exactly will make them hermie.

You just want to keep any and all stresses to a minimum when you are in flower. In veg you can get away with anything just short of killing them. Providing they have time to recover.

Ok thanks!! By light leaks you mean light getting to them while they're in there dark period right? And what about trimming off some of the lower popcorny stuff? Will that cause then to herm if you trim that stuff off?

Just my experience so far, the only hermies I have had were from Barney's Farm fem beans. I would say they are mostly from genetics which might be fine in ideal growing conditions, but stress brings them out.

Yes, thats what light leaks are. And the trimming causing hermies? Not sure on that one. It does stress the plant but to what point I don't know. I never trim very much off at one given time and I really don't go crasy with the whole "lolly popping". I'll trim some lower stuff off but I won't go to town on her for that exact reason. I've had hermies in the past that were more then likely light leaks from going in when lights are off but never for certain. Stress is not good and I try to keep it at a minimum to non-existant. You will have to get familiar with you strain(s) to see what they will tolerate. Beware of femenized seeds also.

OH NO!!!! Why beware of feminized seeds? That's the only kind of seeds I have at the moment. What is wrong with them? So should I just purchase regular seeds and hope for females??the company I bought my seeds from is very awesome with customer service and from what I have researched and found they are very reputable and produce very high quality seeds and so far that has been true with my grow. And I'm almost 100% sure there is no light getting into my tent while the lights are off. The only light that the girls have seen in there dark period is a little flashlight that I've had to use when I had to adjust my filter and fans. Also I only trim about a handful at a time off of each one. I should be able to post some pics when the lights come on today.

The only real major stress my girls are under at the moment is the humidity at night. The humidity spikes up to around 80-85% at night and I can't seem to get it to drop. I Can't afford. Dehumidifier right now so I don't know what to do

Your seeds are probably fine. Some "feminized" seeds are actually just hermies themselves. Most are created using that silver sulfate stuff they spray on the plant to make them herm themselves out. You should be ok but there's the possibility. Regular seeds are probably the safest.

As for you humidity, you might need to get that in check. I've had moldy buds before from humidity and it is heartbreaking to break open colas to see them filled with mold. Sickening!
