Hermie??

Recently have a strain that hermed on me. Pretty sure it was just from stress from the training I did on them to increase yields. These are the clones from last grow that went perfect. Anyway just to make sure about light leaks I shut myself in my small 4x3 room and really had to LOOK to notice a very miniscule pinhole that was found in my weather stripping which seals the door. Talking pin prick, un noticeable unless inches away really scanning for it. Here's my question. I went ahead and installed new stripping just in case. Now since I picked all the balls off and put new stripping up, [if that is what caused the herm issue] will it keep throwing male part out? Basically if you eliminate the stress factor do they go back on track or once stressed they stay a herm? Have quite a few small grows under the belt but never had expierence with hermies before except an ocassional banana late in flowering or junk bagseed experiments that get tossed at the first site. Thanks ahead to anyone with knowledge on this.

Oh my bad, I did have a jack33 that hermed. It was not stress related but genetic so that expierence cant help me here. That jack33 was good smoke though and not one seed. It was really easy to pick them balls off that 7' Christmas tree monster. Nice and open she was.lol

a pinhole of light is not going to cause hermies. youre going to need at least like 2000 lumens to cause any type of light induced dark period stress.

are your temps high?

Good to know about that. Na temp.s are good. Fluctuates in summer a little bit more, but this time of year I can control it pretty good. 76-78. I'm thinking I trained to fast and hard. I grow natural most times except when I get a strain that doesn't yield good. I don't mind training em, it just takes longer before I can flower. They've all been able to take it though and I always have had great success. I've read about certain strains that can't handle it though and I reckon I found one. Again no experience, just what I've read. I top, LST [tie down], then top the side shoots, and then trim off all the lower bud sites [popcorn] that don't get no light so the focus is on the tops. My version of lollypop. I don't touch the leaves. Right or wrong it's just what I do for the low yielders. I'll throw up a pic or two but do you think it's going to keep throwing out balls?
