I have 2 males right now. no pollen sacks yet but I was thinking about putting them outside to grow a bit bigger. thats 2 rooms away from my indoor grow room and we do sometimes have the windows open. think i should just hack em down and dry them out now?

i feel so bad for the poor guys! :( even though they are worthless in the buds sense I still feel an attachment since i raised them from little wee seedlings <3 haha.

so hack em? I wouldnt want to risk pollen travel.

Wack them, Hack them. Just get rid of them one way or another, unless you are wanting to pollinate you ladies.

This follows along with what I have always said. Just because you think you MIGHT have males, does not mean you have to kill them right then and there. It takes a while for them to mature. But I kind of figured SuperHighMe knew he/she has males.

Myself, I always wait until I see the pollin sacks now. I once thought I had a male, and it was my best plant, I gave it to a friend, he grew it and got some very nice buds out of it. It was all FEMALE.

lol well its too late to wait now i already chopped em down.
its not much of a loss. Im about 98% sure they are male. I mean there was definitely balls. when compared along side how i saw my 4 females develop their little white hairs these definitely werent going to develop those.

Im not complaining. 5 females out of 7 total. Im not counting the 8th plant because it was stunted because originally i planted too many seeds to fit in my grow area, so i let that one grow on the window sill and now its outside. so who knows if that one will even do anything. if not no loss. just some bag seed.

nice job kiling your males. theyre completely useless unless you have a kller strain you want seeds of.

I know what you mean - I feel bad about killing something I took SO much care to raise for the last 3 months (I maintain them almost as well as my dog and better than I take care of my husband - LOL). But I keep telling myself that next time, I'll get some feminized seeds and turn the tables on the % of males to females.

LOVE "Garden of Weeden" - that's classic.

Yeah, I thought about making it my avatar - zoomed in pretty close it's a little mucky. Maybe I'll try again though. Thanks for the sympathy :D

I thought I'd post some of my hermie, who was banished out of the greenhouse last week to go be itself in another part of the yard. I'm growing it because I'm a curious girl. What am I gonna do with it? I don't know - I figured I'd just see what it does. :) This plant was germinated in a peat pot in a tennis ball container, then was out in the greenhouse until it was showing definite hermification (I just made that up).

Here's some up close pics of a hermie for those of you that are curious like me.

Hermie - as of today, flowering like crazy.

That's not a skull, it's the face of a garden fairy, see the green wings? Weird, wish there were more pics from another angle (face on Mars, and all that).
