herm?

both these shots are from the same plant. Two opposing shoots have pistils, two opposing shoots have balls. Think its a herm or could those balls be new growth and female buds?
as you can see it was topped early. The top two shoots have the sacks and only on the inward facing calyxes and the node below has the pistils.

only time will tell I'm just so impatient and like to share these macros.

It is too early to tell. Give it at least a week or so to be sure. They look fine to me so far.

Looks like a hermie to me.
But, I have never seen one so young in flower hermie like that.
It's safe to wait it out a few more days to make sure.

ya no sign of pistils there yet,
I might try to cut off the stalks with sacks and see if the rest won't grow sack free

one plant ive seen has looked exactly the same. Later it started showing flowers, didn't want to kill her. After about two weeks of freaking out the plant has been removed just for precaution. Growing on its own now and the balls that have opened have pistols coming out, its really weird none of the others looked like that...some of the balls are still closed and i am still undetermined. The flowers are looking great too..about 14 colas maybe measuring 1''by3/4'' in the 3rd week of 12 12. I'll keep you updated.

right on, well I cut off the parts that had the balls growing, there were only a few sections I just cut off the calyx and new growth at the sites of the male buds. The rest of the plant is flowering nicely now at 2 and a half weeks in.

yea i cut mine off and more grew back in different spots. im in week 4 it looks great more pistols are coming out of the balls and very resinous flowers . Still some balls are closed...so its segregated. I dont know what do do with it im still afraid to keep it with the rest.

Yeah I can see that. Well I'll be checkin my herm to make sure more balls don't pop out. Sounds like yours is growing the balls but not producing pollen. Its hard to say with cannabis though its a strange plant.
Mine might be light stress its a bit stretched, but none of the other plants are like that so really its hard to say. Maybe its the small size of the container (~1.5 - 2 gal) or something else, but will see soon if it grows more herm buds.

yes its a herm, but dominantly female so I just cut off the male buds. will see.
