this is interesting.

i have a hermed plant and its full of seeds. since im not one to waste and its pretty far along id like to grow it out and harvest the seeds. i want to know how long and wut care i need for viable seeds.

and wut issues i may come across genetically with these seeds, when i do plant them.

rep to anyone who answers me question! :D

u need to let the seeds ripen, (to let them turn dark brown with black stripes is best, means they are mature!!)

as for problems u may have , they may be herm genetiacaly, therefore may also tern herm, but like me u might be lucky if u do the job properly, u wait until u see my pics tomorrow these plants are top and i mean top quality!! grown from herm seeds, im so glad i proved those mouthy members wrong who said ide never grow nice bud from herm seeds!! lol....

would the seeds be considered feminized? can a herm caused by stress lead to bad genetics? are they more likely to herm?

this particular plant was taken care of perfectly, and it hermed, could it still have been stress? or is it that original seed was from a previous herm?

thats true men, jah bless herm'sies i had them all feminized sum of them had 0.something% male balls so i had more mostly femile seeds on and on. till one day i pulled them out and i didnt get no seeds anymore. stupid thing to do if theres only 2-3 male balls for the whole plant cause on previous grows the seeds appeared only in the buds where was balls.
a picture of 2, second generation hermie seeds, both 12/12 from seed. dæm i miss that strain.

herm seeds is a very toutchy subject m8, it realy depends if they came from herm genetics or were stressed to go herm, makes a big difference that does!! if u say u looked after the plant perfectly and it still hermed on u then its prob herm geneticaly if u get me, p.s plz excuse my spelling....

uve got a bit of nitrogen defficiency going on there m8, if u think uve got a herm and uve also got other healthy fems in the room, chop the herms, thats my opinion m8.

What about bagseed, aren't those seeds from a hermied mamma plant? Some people who know more about making feminized beans and should really speak up to help spread knowledge because the following is what I read in modern jackass......Some people get feminized seeds and grow them to maturity but they will select a plant (or just a branch) and mist it with either a diluted acid mixture such as muriatic acid and water, or colloidal silver water???????....something like that. Then the plant or the branch hermies and produces feminized seeds. I wouldn't trust anything here but its a starting point to begin your research. I had a nice sensi star female from the only bagseed I ever planted, only found 3 seeds and 2 died but the 3rd was stellar, one of the lemon phenos I believe.
