Heres my setup, any tips please ?

Hi guys

Hoping a few of you would be kind enough to suggest any improvement I could make to my grow. Its pretty basic as I've not been doing this long

Growing in a tent, Secret Jardin I think.

Tents 1.2mx2.4m

I have my air intake RVK 150, then my filter and out take RVK 175

2x600 watt lights and Lumatek dimable ballasts

Basic Biobizz nutes, using cana soil in 18L pots

I'm doing this in my garage. Heres a terrible attempt at showing it from above lol



I also have a question which there doesn't seem to be many definite answers

Its getting cold here so I'm worried about the light off temperatures. My thermometer has a high of 28C at a low of 11C. Is this too low, should I be worried ?

Would a few of these solve the problem ?

Or should I make these changes to my setup



As I hope you can see, I've boarded it off from the rest of the garage and stuck a couple of oil heaters in there.

The stains are Barneys Farm Vanilla Kush, Barneys Farm Liberty Haze and Greenhouse Seeds Cheese

Keep high volume air coming in the tent from the inside of your home and you shouldnt need a heater. Cold is not so much the problem its the varying of the temperature from night to day. Its said that if these two temperatures vary to different from one another then the plant will stress out excessively. So optimal growth temperature is about 75 degrees F and then you would want you night to be around 60 or anything to low would stress the plant. I think I remember reading you want the night temps to drop about 10-15 degrees (optimum) Plants will live in any temperature above freezing but that does not mean they will thrive. To hot they shut down. To cold, same thing. Also with your intake I would knock a hole straight through the garage into your house and use that instead of a duct coming threw the doorway because that will get old real quick and not be a efficient way of exchanging the air between two rooms. So, knock a hole and on the inside of the house you can make it look like a regular hvac vent or hide it with some furniture. Way better than out the doorway. If you find you still need a heater a small chepo space heater with a temperature setting would be fine. Seems like a oil heater would be a bit of a over kill?

yes mate looking good, would be better if u got some actual pictures though lol! also, i am using bio-bizz range, bio-grow,bloom, root juice and top max. a very good mix IMO. also i use Bio-bizz Light mix soil, if your using the bio-bizz range i would go for the bio-bizz soil might aswell keep it all one brand lol, im just picky i guess IMO. happy growing though dude !

Unfortunately I don't think knocking a hole in the wall is a viable option, although I like the idea.

The intakes ran beside an outside door for a cold intake, I time it to go off with the lights in an effort to keep the temperatures up inside the tent, sound about right ?

I'll see what I can do with regards to the real pictures
