Here's A Good Cheap Air Purifier

Okay, so I went on ebay and found the EF-605 air purifer that included an Ionizer, Ozone Generator and General Air Filter. Before I bid on the item I asked other ebay members who also purchased one about their opinions and they also stated that they liked it.

Further on I searched google for the EF-605. What I found made me sour about my purchase. Renew-Air Ozone Air Purifier Fraud! - 3 in 1 ozone generator / air purifier / ionizer/ Fraud Its a large webpage dedicated to showing the flaws of the EF-605 and makes the unit sound like junk and useless... but then I received one.

I'll tell you right now, I expected it barely to (ozonate?) my closet. But after having the unit on for about 10 minutes I started to get a headache from the overpowering smell of static. Like when you rub your hand on a television screen thats staticky and then smell your hand. I searched online and found that that smell is Ozone. So if you ask me, the EF-605 really is a good choice, from what I have found it has completely deordorized my room and its been off for 15 minutes and all I can smell is a slight scent of static.

Dont go to sleep with that thing on. You might not wake up. Its prolly a deal for the money but I doubt it will do the trick by itself. Maybe in a real small setup. Are your plants budding?

Yeah it smells like ozone for sure, but that's a good point I should have mentioned. My plants aren't budding yet, so I can't say it'll work for sure. But I know my closet and most of my room smells like static electricity. And if you think I'm crazy for saying static electricity has a smell, go run your hand against your TV monitor so it crackles and then smell your palm! lol

you should be careful, as ozone is pretty harmful to the human body.
it's basically put that it's good up there, bad down here.

yeah google is ozone generators safe and you feel like a retard....
They are NOT safe for you to breath... Nuff said, look for something else.

if its odors you are trying to get rid of, you need activated carbon, although ions/plasma can help. there are alot of crap purifiers out there, read some reviews and do some research
