am i the only one that think 4 months flowering time is long?? Most strains ive heard are 8-10 weeks and i know sativas take longer but 16 weeks flowering?

i've heard of 16week strains but it is very rare..especially where im from, Cali..we like those 8weekers..but yea i wouldnt listen to that website, id take what they say into consideration but when there ready THERE READY.

read it and let me know what you think i should do?

Hey guys I just had a quick ? If that's ok, I have two plants under two 400w mh's and their going good, they've been in veg for about nine weeks and are 17"tall as of this morning and very bushy, my ? Is when are they going to show their sex? It's startin to worry me a bit cause my ceiling space is limited and I read here that they grow lots faster under 12/12 hps. I've been searching with magnification and I can't see any signs of sex yet, is this normal?

change your light hours to 12/12 then you find out the sex..sounds like a female tho..males get really tall and skinny not short and bushy..2months of veg and your plants 17' and really bushy-i bet its a female.
Thank Cali, yea I wasn't sure if I wanted to switch the light schedule yet cause I read somewhere that it can stress your plant into a hermie if you do it before the pre flowers show. Im probably gonna go ahead with it anyways, I was just wondering if anyone knew if it was normal for them to go this long with no pre flowers yet lol

ok guys im at the end of week one with flowering and shes moving along nicely
do you guys think i need to cut some of the bottom fan leaves off? seems like too many
also if you can see on some of the pics i have a couple fan leaves with looks like dying do i just cut them off?
she also grew bigtime and i think im gonna have a problem cieling wise, i pretty much only have 1 foot left from the top of the light lol
i dont know what to do with the height thing lol
anyways any comments or sugestions let me know

the leaves will fall off by themselves when they neeed to , the plant still uses those big ones on bottom to store energy n what not..i usually pluk them off when the gturn yellow and they fall right off.. as for the hieghth problem id train some of the top branches to keep it growing bushy rather than tall of just cut a bit off if you have to lol u gotta do what ya gotta do. plant looks good shhoulod yield nice

yea you can trim it up as long as your not past week 2 of flower...i clean up the bottom and thin out my plants every grow..it lowers you Humidity annnnddd you said your having humidity issue's so trimming would be a good idea for you..another way to lower humidity is raise the temp..besides that i dont know what else to say except if your drawing really humid air in from outside then to maybe draw less air inside to try to keep a low stable RH.
so dont touch the plant let the leaves fall off themselves, what would it put it into shock if you touch it?

600w should be about 16 inches away in veg and 12 inches away in flower..AND YES YOU CAN TRIM UP YOUR PLANT..a whole shit load of people trim there plants..Google-pruning and thinning the cannabis plant

sativa's grow alot in flower indica's can stay pretty short...yea they grow upwards, depends on what strain it is to how much it will grow upwards in flower...yours will probably grow another foot upwards
