Yeah and special forces is like what, 1% of the air force? I guarantee this joker wasn't special forces. Any military folks know the AF is a total joke and the least respected of the armed forces.

People who want to join the military and score high enough on the ASFAB test tend to gravitate to the Air Force. Especially if they want a high tech job that can lead to a high paying job in the private sector. And when I was serving in the US Army in the late 80's, it was the Navy that was the laughing stock of the military...sorry. Easily the "fattest" of the services, the Air Force had much higher fitness standards. They also have the nicest facilities, living quarters, food services and overall the nicest bases.

This douchebag is a fine representative of the typical liberal. I hope he keeps posting so the stupidity of the left continues to be exposed. Truly exemplifies the envy and hatred the left has for anyone who manages some success in their lives.

You're a fine representative of the typical conservative. I hope you keep posting so the stupidity of the right continues to be exposed. Truly exemplifies the envy and hatred the right has for anyone who is not a selfish, greedy, god & gun loving douche bag.

I dont get what all the hysterics are about.

Can all the bullshit talking points for a second and ACTUALLY think about what the program does. It fill EMPTY homes that will only remain empty (anyone try to get a mortgage lately?)

Yeah those vacant homes make for a much better community and really help home values of the neighborhood.......vacant homes and crackhouses are a true gift and a real bonus for all the neighbors..

If anyone here is a homeowner and opposes this they are either full of shit or retarded.

They need to sell them, period.

they are the ones that totally fucked the housing market to begin with.

lets just say you are an honest business man and have a few rentals in the area. do you want your competition to be big brother?

and who says these are all a bunch of crackhouses? you really dont understand property rights do you?

and yes, my GF just got a mortgage, not hard at all. she met the requirements and they gave her money. she closes on the 17th.

Wow, I've never seen that tactic before, how original. The problem for your assumption is I'm not just an athiest, I'm an anti-theist...Christoper Hitchens is the man. I do own guns, can't say I love them, but I do exercise my 2nd amendment rights. Sorry, if that doesn't jibe with your obvious Marxist mentality.

If conservatives are so greedy and selfish, why are they by far the biggest donaters to charity. HMMMM. It's not up for debate, it's a fact.

Yeah, nice try asscrack. Go get some talking points that aren't so easily shot down next time. You must be real new to this. It's like playing online poker with russians, no skill, they just all in and hope for the best every hand.

Jeff I own property and im educated, yes I understand property rights. Of course they need to sell them, but they cant Jeff. Do you pay ANY attention to home sales numbers and such? If you do at all you know they are at an ALL TIME LOW Jeff. Homes are not selling, while not impossible its not easy to get a mortgage as it was 10-15-20 years ago.

Are you really that concerned over BANK OWNED property? Have you considered that many of those same banks are a huge part of the reason our economy is fucked right now? What about teh fact that in reality, you and me and every other tax payer basically owns those homes. Remember WE paid for them with the bailouts?

You are somewhat correct in that getting a mortgage isnt impossible, but try selling a home right now. I just went through the process of selling, renting and then buying again. I sold just as the bubble started to burst. To be honest my selling was more for investment capital for the business, i had no idea the market was gonna shit the bed; i just got lucky. So we rented for a while and just finished buying a new home recently. I paid less than what I sold my previous home for and got twice the home and land. Prices are insanely low right now, I paid $48,000 under the properties assessed value :-)

If youre selling a home JEff, and its surrounded by vacant properties, your home is gonna have a hard time selling and you probably wont get what its worth. Thats just common sense. As far as landlords go, I dont think this would have a massive impact on them. Rentals are at a high both in demand and prices Jeff. Home ownership is close to an all time low right now and the rental market is fierce because of it. That market can take somewhat of a hit and not be greatly compromised.

True enough. I didn't bring the Corps into it because I figured it went without saying. But saying Airmen are less physically fit than all those lard ass navy guys is ridiculous.

follow me here, i dont think we are that far off.

the GOVT banks own the property. in order to bring the market force BACK into the housing market, they need to auction off the properties.

they may sell for a dollar, or a million dollars, but thats what the market will bare. you may get a great deal, or a first home otherwise not affordable. or you may start a business renting and maintaining property. or a realestate business. the govt has no business in managing, renting property.

that will stop your freefalling property values because the market will come in and dictate what the fair price is.

seriously ink, we arent that far apart here.

and no, mortgages arent that hard to get. really they arent. my GF only had to blow me to get hers approved and i am not a banker.

granted she was below max qualified value and well within her ability to pay. it actually went quicker for her than any of the 7 houses i bought in sold in the last 30 years.

You should realize that if they wanted to sell the homes they would have no problem selling all of the available homes- I would like to buy a house as would many others.
