jnagz hay man its grass wait for the real thing because thats not it. next time just put the seed a half inch in the soil and your good. unless u want some sod to smoke dont worry about that thing.

I may have led you astray on my assumptions of vertical vs horizontal bulbs. You WERE CORRECT that if a bulb is DESIGNED to be vertical, it WILL burn out prematurely if it is placed in a horizontal position. Sorry for the confusion.

it will be very clear that a stem with two water leaves will break ground and eventually grow its first set of true leaves within the next few days

are these plants grown from seed or from clone
if from clones, it is possible that the plant cloned from was stressed during that cloning phase or a previous one and the stress caused your babies to hermie. sometimes this is only a slight side affect and i never even notice untill i start smoking my product in the longrun. i wouldnt worry too much about it unless your seeding male flowers popping up everywhere. if you see one or two just pluck em before they open case closed. start your next grow from new genetics all good

hi i would recomend this..... its a bubble cloner
its just an airstone like you would find in a fishtank in a tub with water. cut the plastic top and iserted 4" netpot's with grodon rocks.
when i start a cover it with visquine (you could us a garbage bad) and poke holes int it and slide my cuttings in.
no rooting hormone, humidity dome, or nutrients needed. 7-10 days roots i guarentee it.

Lets talk about NUTES!!! I can't find a lot of good info on nutes in soilless or hydro grows....
What kinds are being used? I know always MG (miracle grow) but has anyone used garden lime to control the Magnesium problems?
Whats the best all around nute for vegging, when do you put it in? How often? How Much?
How about for Flowering, whats the best when do you put it in and how often? How Much?
What about Molesas? Sugar? Talk about a conversation starting.........

When transplanting, is it okay for me too switch soils? I am currently using MG but tomorrow im going to get Fox Farm nutes for my little child and was thinking of getting some Fox Farm soil for when i transplant. Is this possible without hurting the plant?
Also, can anyone tell me the proper way to transplant from a small starter pot to a bigger one? Any videos or something would help. Thanks

would 1 130w cfl grolite 6400k b ok for 2 plants in a closet 2m high 1m wide on sides and 1 and half mtre wide where doors open ,i was also going to use 130w cfl growlite 2700k for flowering ,could i use both throughout the whole stage veg/flowr,or will that put off to much heat , hope some1 can guide me on the rite path get high

i am on day 42 of a Lowryder2 grow and am having some leaf issues with what im hoping is just nute burn and i should just flush and refert.
any help here would be great. using fox farm ocean forest, and im now in what will be the start of week 4 of flowering out of my 6 to be completed. nugs look great hairy getting bulky and civered in trichs.
anyways heres the pic, there are little spots and large areas of dark discoloration maybe you can see it and distinguish.

So I'm in need of some advice. I am 30 days into flowering, using the stealth hydro setup. My babies grew a lot taller than expected and now they are starting to topple over. My question is, what should I do? haha. I have tried to tie them up and that is helping a little bit but is it too late to put a wire cage around them or should I just keep tying each kola up individually. Thanks.

Hey all, I'm in the process of making a carbon filter type set up. Just wondering if I have a fan sucking air out through the carbon filter is it really necessary to have another fan blowing in air or could a guy just have a hole to allow fresh air entry. I have a small space 2 1/2' x 4 1/2' x 4'high and my fan will be sucking air out close to the top of my room, I was thinking of just leaving an open hole on the bottom. Looking at a 4" (80cfm) fan and there like $40 here so if i can get away with one it would be nice, thanx.

I have a 5 day old seedling very healthy under some cfls in a big pot 6 by 6 and i know its terrible to over water the plants.
i was just wondering what people mean when they say by watering the plants and not watering again until the soil dries.
do you mean to water until all the soil in the pot is moist or just around the root? cuz if its the whole pot thats a lot of soil to wet.
