Ugh, all these bad reviews are making me anxious. I have 5 weeks growing them, 1 week in flower. 6 plants in a 5x5 and 4 plants in a 4x4. But they look so nice so far. They scrog so well and really explode with supercropping. More pics.
Hell of a nice crop dude! BEAUTIFUL!! Mean Gene is right though, the best way to know is to try for yourself.

I suppose out start keeping a journal starting now and backtrack what I've done just for knowledge sake
EXCELLENT idea. You may find what turns them on and makes them perform like we all wish they would at the finish. Then u can share with the rest of us!

I added a 2nd scrog. Started week 2 of flowering and I'm concerned it may stretch too high. On an unrelated note I got one of those stand up fans and hung it horizontally. Seems good for sending air out uniformally over the canapy. It's doing a "stand up" job

I ran the Afghani this year, outside. I think I got a long flowering pheno or something, because I went to check on it yesterday and it still has white hairs and clear trichomes. It didn't produce much at all, but we had a pretty piss poor end of season, so I don't think it's a good representation of what this strain can do. The buds turned a pleasing purple pretty promptly after starting to flower. I just left the plant out there to be claimed by the elements due to the fact that little bit of bud it did produce is not ready.image.jpg

Old thread I know, but I still got 2 of those seeds and was thinkng about growing them.

I’ve grown a Pure Afghan in the past and she looked like the pics in this thread. Not many trichomes but she was tasty and had a nice mellow buzz. I think real afghans just grow like that in the wild. Short, low yielding, just the way they’re supposed to be.
