Coco... The Hempy of the 21st century!Hempy is awesome but its part of that whole " passive hydroponics" but now a' days you can just straight coco rather than 100% perlite/vermiculite.. Hempy is basically a bucket with perlite/vermiculite with a drain hole in the bottom.
Yeah pretty much. You dont see too many growers using them anymore as much as the did about 5 years ago, its kind of obsolete with all the different coco coir they have out now.Coco... The Hempy of the 21st century!
PH stability! What are the advantages of coco to Perlite?
nothing really maybe plant stability when it gets big.. In 100% perlite it would probably fall over. You dont get any bugs with 100% perlite. What are the advantages of coco to Perlite?
I think it was the dudes screen name who did a tutorial on them, I always knew them as perlite bucketsI don't know why someone started calling it Hempy Buckets!
Good info my friend!!Dalaihempy was his name in most forums....he started the movement with all perlite in the bucket then later moved to coco with a perlite res at the bottom. Simple drain to waste...I get wasted draining about it.
That gives me an idea for an experiment: "sandwich" the coco in the middle, with perlite top and bottom- bottom for drainage, and on top to keep down gnats.Dalaihempy was his name in most forums....he started the movement with all perlite in the bucket then later moved to coco with a perlite res at the bottom.
