As long as the nutrients are water soluble you are good to go.

what ive been doing with my hempys is watering once a week with nutes and 2-3 times a week with just straight RO water

I've grown a few times with hempy and mostly I do aero. My hempy buckets always get yellowing of the leaves. Is that because it needs cal/mag?? I've heard hempy bucketsw get deficient in that nutrient for some reason. Also I think I was over nuting them because I was giving them 1300 ppm's almost every feeding since that is what was available to my aero plants. I've looked at all of the pics and I could never figure out if was over nuted or undernuted but now i've got 6 hempys going and I'm going to only feed them nutes 1 time a week and ro in between

Ok so all I can say is damnnn. I fed them 1/4 strength nutes last night and it's like they came back from the dead! My computer died on me so I'm using my iPhone for all these posts or else id post pics. I'm gonna try and borrow my gfs laptop and get some pics up.

When growing Hempy, I feed every time I give water during Veg. During Flowering I do feed, feed and then water. Glad to hear your plants are back. Gotta love the simplicity of hempy. Good luck with the rest of your grow.

So I thought I would just grow normally because I wanted to flower quick but I've decided Im going to scrog the three plants. I figure that would give me the best yield possible.
I'm shooting for half a gram per watt with my 150 watt hps. Does that seem feasible with a hempy grow? I'm going to get pics up, I know it's hard to predict that with no visual of what it's like. But just wondering if anybodys seen a hempy scrog or done one.

So I am running 5 hempy buckets along with some bubblers and 4 waterfarms. The Hempy buckets are by far doing the worst They are showing Nitrogen definciencies and probably Cal/Mag as well. I have had the same problems with my other Hempy bucket grows.They are 5 weeks into flower and I am supplementing with some veg nutes and Cal/Mag to add some Nitrogen. I will have to wait to see if they continue to yellow. I just don't get it. I am watering 2xs/week and giving nutes every other watering. The run-off was 6.01 ph and 1400ppm's. Is anyone else having this problem? Little Tommys plants look green and healthy. These plants have a long way to harvest to be this yellow. I know it will affect hte yield. And the plants in the bubblers and the water farm are not showing the same problems even with the same nutes. Help

My hempy buckets are in wk 5 of flower (30 days). What strength nutes are you feeding? I'm feeding about 1300-1350 with supplements one time a week and then RO once. Ph 6. They don't look any worse today. Do you supplement with nitrogen or cal/mag and how much?

I feed my hempys once a week with botanicures pureblend pro bloom, GH FloraNectar, and some hi-brix molasses (just a little tho). After I mix it all up I pH it to 5.8-5.9. Between each feeding I'll give the hempys straight RO 2 to 3 times

Well from what I read it seems like hempy is pretty foolproof since the roots aren't constantly saturated in nutes like if you overfeed when using soil. I'm only using half strength nutes everyday and they seem fine so far. I'll probably move up to 3/4 strength just to see what happens but for now they seem fine.
