Hempcrete, heard of it? I hadn't until the other day, I'm completely blown away and a little upset, why have we been using these commercial building materials all this time? Money and greed

However, the typical compressive strength is around 1 MPa,[SUP][4][/SUP] around 1/20 that of residential grade concrete. Hempcrete walls must be used together with a frame of another material that supports the vertical load in building construction, as Hempcrete's density is 15% that of traditional concrete.[SUP][/SUP][SUP][/SUP]
