So, this is my 4th grow. only the second grow using Advanced Nutrients, and i'm already tired of AN. any idea as to whats causing this? i'm pretty sure its over-fert in which case they will bounce back. Only 2 out of 5 plants seems to be affected by this. it hasn't progressed further since i dialed back nutrient strength and introduced a Water + Drip Clean half way point.

still.. Any input is appreciated and noted.

I'm super curious as to why only 2 of the 5 (the bigger healthier looking of the 5) was affected.

Its driving me crazy so quick replies are appreciated

im using Pro-Mix BX w/ mycorize. Advanced Nutritents Line of nutes. the only thing out of the ordinary i have introduced to this grow is Drip clean. its possible that i overdid it with the drip clean and burnt them but i dont think so considering i watered them 2 days ago with plain water and drip clean and it seems to have cleared up a bit but im not sure. gonna water again tomorrow. im switching to flowering in 4 days. Going to try to get 2 more watering cycles in before hand, in 2 days im gonna start super cropping and in 4 days im gnna take cuttings for clones and switch over to 12/12 with hps and see what happens. i am also going to dial back the nutrients strength and see if the girls bounce back. and of course i have to lollypop and continue scrog training :)

It looks like deficiencies to me- 2 or more, iron and phosphorous maybe?

That promix has limited nutrients, right? I've not used it before.

What type of lighting are you using? How close to the tops are they? Hid lights can get hot spots. Do you have fans circulating the air well? Either one of those can cause problems that would show signs in certain spots. If the air isn't moving well and there is a lot of foliage in a tight area they have a problem respirating.

No the air isn't moving well my fan broke a couple days ago im going to get a new one today to see if that helps the problem. im using 1000w metal halide currently. its about 20 inches from the tops i adjusted it today and moved it a little higher.

meh, i dont think its 2 deficiencies. The leaves that need pruned off are almost white while the rest of the plant is healthy looking. it appears to be over-fertilizer im going to cut back on the nutes for a few days until i change over to flowering just to be safe. im gonna start flowering nutes at 1/3 strength also. and keep drip clean at a bare minimum of .2 ml to avoid burn.

I've never seen toxicity manifest in rust spots and yellowing like that. But sounds like you already know what the problem is.. Why are you bumping?

1000 watts YOU GOTTA HAVE FANS one to circulate inside and an exhaust to remove heat. That would be a minimum. I think your lucky they look as good as they do.

my temps stay at 75, with 45-50% humidity at all times. i have fans for heat i just dont have an oscilating fan to move the air around near the plants.

So you're relying on passive air flow to refresh the air in and around all those leaves? Air will move to the path of LEAST resistance. That means the further you get from your fresh air intake the more likely that stagnant air becomes a problem. Assuming your filter/ exhaust is towards the top of your tent to remove the hot air. That would be another factor that will make it easier for air to flow above your canopy. Good for tops but the lower you go on the plant the degree of difficulty rises.

i use a cool tube with a 1000w mh / hps (respectively) and a 440 cfm blower to cool it with a small fan sucking the hot air out and a humidifier / fan / air cooler combo in the back blowing across the girls with a co2 bucket sitting in front of the humidifier / fan to blow it across them as well. they are bouncing back, im gonna stop using drip clean a reliable source referred it to me but something is wrong either i used it wrong or they dont like it but im done with it for now. it was rather expensive.

Doesn't look like a heat or air flow issue. Go with your gut; remove what you've changed recently, and give it a few days before changing anything else so you can prove it out.
