Found someone that buys them leaves, is this alright for drying the buds?

If it's really dry don't trim. If it's decent there.. Knock down the sugar leaves. Pain to trim dry.

A grower recommended I only take big leaves of and keep sugar leaves on, is this right? Or does it not really matter

I trim wet it’s easier. It’s really personal preference.
