I got a question if I topped my plant and there was no growth on the side of the stem, will it affect it or will it grow out normally with time?

You likely will need to train the plant which it seems you were already planning. But it's no biggie deal. as long as you have leaves left to collect light it will recover. It is hard to understand what you have done. Do you mean you chopped all the growth off of one side? Because if so that is minus the top as well it would be >50% of the total foliage. If that is the case I think you should veg her more than 2 months to recover from that. I don't take more than 20% of the total leaf mass at once because it trips some strains up. It is said they will hermie but what I experienced was runting.
