I am posting this on behalf of a friend, they are growing outdoors in FL.

My guess was, they're over watering the plants and rain is is getting on to the plant and with the high FL heat its killing the plant? Would I guess right?

What should they do to cure this plant????

Looking at this plant what do you think it is?

i've grown in FL many years now. heat has never been a problem outdoors. the problem is the soil is too wet for a seedling. GL

that thing looks fucked tbh

leave it alone and let it grow

the pic looks a little out of focus but a shot in the dark i would say down in that bucket it has no airflow over watering

is he using a retail premix? if so maybe burn like i said the photo is out of focus

I told her to grow in coco, but its her first grow & shes a cancer patient so I figured I'd let her experient a little just didnt think she would crash this early.

I'm a hydro grower so soil isnt something I know to much about.

Don't know if the poor baby has a chance. Does look overwatered and as spex says...miracle grow soil is crap. All I could suggest is re-potting in better soil and don't overwater. Add some perilite to aerate the soil to help prevent overwatering in the future... if the plant doesn't drain well you get these issues. Water until you get a good runoff and then don't water again until it dries out...lift the pot to see if it feels light, if it does it's dry and ready for water.

Good luck to your friend!

shes waayy to wet, yes to germ. lots lots water but when young I just use a spray bottle tell her, the medium/soil she is using will absorb much slower and prevent her from flooding them..just a good hint for new soil growers to prevent what she is doing, also did she try and feed it? she could of nuked it, with the MG soil has 6 month release and anything on a baby plant would fry her.. I hope she has some more seeds. I hate saying it but that's gona be a tough one to bounce back if it can, I wish u and ur friend luck in all grows, ITs the best hobby in the world but it can be really be a pain sometimes, if its her FIRST grow, just tell her chalk it up as a learning experience and RESEARCH RESEARCH RESEARCH,watch videos, if shes a great friend Buy her a book lol! theres enough nowa days!! Google Will actually tell the truth most the time :-P ONE LOVE!!
