Help!!!!!!!!

Ok so I grew a few different strains that came out well and now there are 2 still growing that have me confused. I have Durban Poison and Platinum OG and both are on about 10 or 11 weeks flowering with big buds but what I dont get is the buds hairs have turned colors, no white pistols at all, about 3 weeks ago but the hairs are really long and bud is aired out not dense or anything. I have harvested once before bud like this but it sucked it was just really light bud with tons of orange hairs, under microscope I see clear, milky, and amber trichomes wtf???? Its almost as if the plant focused more on putting out hairs than crystals, if I were to judge harvest time on the colors of the hairs I would have had premy bud like 3 weeks ago. I have heard that sometimnes sativa plants can actually go well into 13 weeks of flower, is it possible that the orange hairs mean nothing for these strains and the buds will fill in so there arent inch long orange hairs all over bud or is the grow just screwed up??????????

I never go by the color of the hairs, I always check trichomes. I've harvested with a ton of hairs still white but the trichs were like 70% cloudy 30% amber. The hairs would turn after drying. And yes sativas are known to have long flowering time.

I had a supposed 9week PPP from Nirvana that took 14weeks to peak but wasnt dense at all.

Possible phenotype issue, did you have any more of these to compare against?


i did not and it kind of tainted my view about Nirvana.
