Help!

Hey guys, so I've been checking out the secret jardin grow tents and I'm thinking about going with the DR 120 II. Its dimensions is 4'x4'x6.5'. I'm gonna run a 600w lumatek ballast with a radiant a/c reflector. What should I do about ventilation and carbon filters? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Great choice on a tent. Hopefully I will be able to get my DR120 II early next year. With that tent, you would want a 6" inline fan with around 400+CFM. You can pair it with a 6" carbon filter as well. Here are some choices for Inline Fans from Greners.com. My personal choice would be Vortex, but I'm sure others will have more input on an inline.

For a Carbon Filter, you really can't beat the Phresh Filter.

Thanks Midnightjoker, I was thinking the same thing jus wanted to confirm it with someone with a bit of experience. And I've been usin greners.com as a guideline from the start so I think il jus buy everything through them great in depth reviews on reflectors and tents. Also if you don't mind helping me what kind of fan should I use to cool my reflector. I'm getting the radiant 6' a/c reflector

You can use whatever 6" inline fan you buy to cool your reflector. Just run your ducting from the fan through the reflector and your carbon filter.

Ok so I'm gonna need 3 different fans? One to cool my hood, one for intake and one for exhaust? My hood has a glass shield on it so should my temps be ideal or will I need to exhaust the tent?

Inline fans are kinda pricy. I'm jus tryin to create a optimal growing environment for my plants without blowing a bunch of money on unnecessary items(not trying to cheat my way out tho if I need it then im gonna get it) jus trying to save a few bucks. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

you will need two fans the main expensive one will be a 6" inline that will exhaust your tent through the reflector the other is a cheap circulating fan to move air in the tent. you wont need an intake fan with a proper exhaust fan. if you plan on using a serious light, you must use a serious fan to cool it.

Sorry I'm kinda a noob but how is it gonna exhaust my tent when the radiant reflector has a piece of glass? The lights gonna pretty much be on a totally different air flow than my tent so would I need a 6' to cool my my hood then get another inline to exhaust the air in my tent? Thanks for the help guys jus trying to make sure every thing Is set up right before I make my purchases which will be pretty soon
