my plants are a week old and one seem to be leaning to the side is this normal and wen shud i start adding nutes.

Where do you have the plants ? in a window sill ? and what soil/medium are you using ? you shouldn't have to add nutes for about 3 months, if your using good soil. Ive read that you should start babies off at 1/4 dose of the nutes if your growing hydro and gradually increase the volume.

are they stretchy looking ?

got any pics ?

If their leaning cuz their stretching then all you have to do is take it out your pot and re bury it , burying the stem up to the first set of leaves

Then lower your lights , the closer you have them the better

if their to high then your plants will stretch trying to reach the light source

Their is a sticky thread along the top of this forum showing how you can easily re plant it to bury your stem ( If that is the problem your having )

Pics would help

The stems of seedlings are quite pliable and will grow towards the light source. This enables the plant to collect more energy by having as much leaf surface area in contact with direct light as possible. In nature, plants will often follow the sun across the sky from east to west. Make sure you have your lights directly above your plants. If you're using florescent tubes, remember that the light is always strongest directly in the middle of the tube. Plants placed on the outside edge of the tubes, where the light is weakest, will sometimes grow toward the stronger light in the center of the tube.
When to start adding nutrients to your soil depends on the type of soil used. Most soils have enough nutrients to promote healthy plants for at least a couple of weeks. After this time, nutrients will need to be added, but go easy in the beginning. It's easy to burn young plants.

i would rebury the stems or try to at least and move the light a little closer . is that a T5 set up or just regular CFL ? looks like the light is way to far to be doing its job.

i am using t5s
they can get closer than what you have em ...like within a few inches, this will stop them from stretching too the light...also when you put them in new pots bury upto first set of leaves like goten stated ;)

when you put them in bots, you can use a little dirt to help straighten them, also you can go outside get a small stick and twist tie or string or something and gently tie up the plant to the stick to straighten in up. I veg under T5's and with a little circulation can get that light within about an inch of the plants. I do 2-3 inches above majority of the plants and no less than 1" from the tallest.
