This is my setup: Aeroponics W/ Topfed Water 10 Gal. tub, air pump w/ 1 5" o2 stone and 1 7"air tube, 10 GPH water pump on low one 3/8" line going into 3" net pot. 3 800 lumen cfl's 6500K enclosed in bathroom cabinet with fan for circulation. Temp./ Humid. meter, right now im using ph strips and ph down for aquariums. completely sealed container w/ drain and water level.

Now for the questions:

I started without preping so there has been alot of changing locations and lighting. Let me tell you where I am now I planted the seedling in rockwool on 4-27-11. It came up good for about 5 days then it stunted. I found that the light guard i made was getting wet from the top feed and grew massive slime. I didnt have ph'ed water either. The next day there were two spots crispy burnt on one leaf so i cut the spots off got ph stuff flushed and refilled rez. w/ ph'ed water let it run for 24 hrs.( air and water) Lights have been 20/6 since leaves dropped the seed. after 24 hrs. I drained and filled w/ 1/4 strengh nutes new growth looks green but not growing. It has been running w/ nutes for 24 hrs.

Roots: how much light creates root rot cause ive seen people pick up ootballs into the light then other people say light kills roots?

Humidity/ Temp.: 75-83 lights on 35% 70-73 lights off 40-42%

Sorry, no real answers, just speculation (I'm a dirt-grower).

Your night-temps are OK, but make sure - as only a few degrees colder at night could lock out nutrients (it does seem hungry, which is odd as it's so young - but like I said I grow in dirt).

Dont worry about the old leaf its "old" I would if this was mine would be to up the nutes to half ( no wait sorry just re read where you have been feeding 1/4 for only 24 hrs) Keep it that way (What are you using by the way) making sure the PH in the water is correct and start to foliar spray. You can look at the plant and tell it had issues but the new growth is looking good. Can you see roots yet?

you sure like foliar sprays. maybe i should do that... is it ok to do that in flowering?

I would recommend not using them pH strips. We are not trying to figure out a "general range". You need to be precise. A pH meter that will get the job done can be picked up for under 30$.

I don't see the water temp of your solution?
Can ya add that.

I am thinking, 1.) your water temps are not in range, or 2.) you have a lock out because your pH is not right. or 3.) Your not doing things right, see footnote

If you can add more I will subscribe to this post and check back later to add on, or if you wish message me and I will respond threw the site private message feature.

*Is there any FAQ Tutorial or something you have been following? Also is this your first time growing? Stepping into aeroponics for a first time is doo-able, but you are going to see many problems and possibly, if you make it, a very great learning experience.

looks like she is overwatered to me mate try raising it up out the pot a little as you want some roots exposed to air but so the bubbles from your airstone is splashing them to keep moist,if all of your root mass is completly saturated then you are suffocating them mate if you are in rockwool cube this should be moist if you feel it an it is completly soaked then you are deff overwatered her

to me also seems like roots are suffocated. I see you are using an aero setup and taking care of o2 but still it looks like an overwatered plant.... could be because of root rot etc. try using h2o2.

Yes the roots are hanging 4 5 inches frombottom of net pot they were stiff holding themselves up but now they have drooped limp but not slimey what do u recommend for foliage spray I heard a nuts mix can burn under lights and what about root rot? It hasn't gotten better or worse in three days( the whole plant).I have been watering 24hr. BIG mistake I changed to 15 on 45 off for couple hrs then went to 5 on 15 off Benn that way up till now. If u need any other info ask cause I might not know its relevant im giving all info I can think of.

Well shit! We have to get the root problem fixed and unfortuanlty I have never delt with that becasue I start with and always have in my rez Hydrozyme if you do not have some get some!. SO inorder to fiz the root problem my though is to go get some 30% H202 and some Hydrozyme. flush the crap out of your tank and roots using the H202 and then maintain it with the Hydrozyme. Expensive yes will it fix the problem more than likley.

I have ordered a cycle timer for watering i am thinking of 1 min on 5 min off what do u recommend? I am going to look for 35% H2O2 but shouldn't that be dilutted way down. I have ordered a digital ph meter also. If she is overwatered how long should i leave water off for i keep wanting an waiting for her o reach for the lights but nope! Water level is only at 2 gal. the roots are in air between watering isn't this correct?! I have put a 2 liter bottle half full of frozen water to keep temps down but dont know precise are the Temp. Humid. meter capable of submersing the sensor to read water emp or would a regular thermometer be ok?

What do u think about transplanting to soil for an easier environment while its adjusting and if it rcovers well maybe try aero next time or would that kill her anyway?
