i am a newbie by far as you can already tell. i have 3 seedlings at the moment, they only have their 2 coytledon's and the first to leaves pointing out. those two leaves have a slight curl around the edges, and all three plants have seems to stop growth already. their only 4 days old and the tallest one is maybe 2.5 inches. what causes this??

growing in a closet. admit that i have overwatered them slightly but i havent watered them in a while now that i have a moisture meter. the plants are under a 4 bulb 2 foot t5 ho light. and the medium is mg organic, ive been watering them straight bottled drinking water that has been sitting in a tub with a bubbler in it. the room temp stays at 75 degrees when the lights on and 73 with it off. i dont know what im doing wrong except the possible overwatering.

edit: i have been using superthrive by the instructions on the bottle. and i also do not have a fan in there, the room is coated in mylar and i have a temp door coated in mylar and this one little blower i have keeps the temps at 75

edit again : 400 watt HPS is ordered

i would stop the super thrive for 1 they are to small for any nutes at all and 2 super thrive is really just bullshit and should be used only to help cuttings root. and only at 1/4 stregnth of what the bottle says

they look fine but you should have filled the cup with more dirt cuz ina week or 2 depending on size they will need to be transplanted.

the first thing we need to learn growing is patience. it takes so many weeks depending on what your strain is and there is nothing you can do to speed that time up. i know i go into my grow room and inspect everything mostlikely 2-3xs aday just checking and tinkering. but time is the only thing we cant buy at the hydro store for our plant. i dont even think ebay has it....so i would suggest that while you wait out the first few weeks. yes the first few and then it will be amazingly over whelming growth that grab a jigsaw puzzle or a good book to keep your mind bussy while the plant does its thing. just make sure you get a good puzzle so you can glue it and frame when your done. by the time you get the puzzle done you wont beleieve what your seedling has become
