So what gives, where I live we have been pretty much in a drought, only rains on the blue moon. So I had these really nice Auto's, said to myself I will cut them down on the next watering, as they are mixed in with the SSH's I have. So when I came back the bloody Auto's were covered in this black powdery mold, under perfectly clear blue skies. So what happened, and is there anything I can do to prevent this mold? I can only imagine what will happen the rest of the crop when the fall rains (hopefully) arrive. I on brighter note my SSH's are just kicking ass. Hey thanx in advance for all your help fellow stoners.:peace:

Hard to tell without knowing more.

Is it very humid where you are?

Have you had any caterpillar problems? They are known for shitting in the buds which almost instantly turns to mold and rots the entire bud.

Try to give us more info, hopefully that will help

No, no humidity, no rain either, Its kinda a bumber, because I would have never thought they would have molded up that fast, just a week.

If it is bud worms, they can accomplish that in a week.

Moisture is the only other cause that I'm aware of, unless the buds were extremely over ripe.

Look for worms, and apply Bt ASAP.

BINGO!!!! That has to be it, the buds were over done, hungh. I just got sick of smoking under done pot, makes me paranoid, so I decided to let these go, and go..... Remember this is all new to me, I have even let a plant get over run by insects just to see what happens. So if you let buds go to long they will mould? Thanx a lot Veggie Weggie lol:peace:

One thing I've learned in my years on grow sites is that overripe buds are rarer than an honest cop.

In my mind that choice was a long shot!

LOL

They are low to the ground, which also lets em get real dirty, gritty, from bounce up, up and awayyyyyyyy:peace:
