Ok so I'm in the process of converting an old armoire into a stealth grow box. I Have one question on how to vent it tho. THe space i will be growing in is about 3 ft wide X 2 ft Deep X 3 ft Tall. I want to use a inline fan to exhaust thru a carbon filter, and i was planning on having a passive intake. The fan i want to use pushes 190 CFM. Here it is http://cgi.ebay.com/4-INLINE-FAN-CARBON-FILTER-COMBO-ODOR-CONTROL-SCRUBBER_W0QQitemZ300397547392QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item45f116cf80

So i guess what im asking is how many holes should i make for the intake and at what size? I dont want to create a vacuum effect that will not allow me to open the doors. Please help + rep for those who can. Cheers:joint:

2 holes for passive intake should be enough. but you can always put one or 2 pc fan as intake fan they are cheap and very silence and easy to connect.

all you need is a 12volts recharger.

I've got a dresser grow just about ready to start. I've been fiddling with things to get temps right. I'm pretty much there now. It's 36"h x 31"w x 16"d. I'm running 7 23watt CFLs. I have 2 pc fans for intake at the bottom corners and 3 passive intake holes which will have some pc fans added for a bit of extra circulation (one more intake in the center, two exhaust up top. The passive air movement holes are key, they seem to help to expel a lot of heat. I ran it for 10 hours, had to leave, and maintained temps in the low-to-mid-80s. You'll need to make a light trap. PVC pipe and the 90˚ elbows that fit them are good. You don't want to disturb the dark period, especially during flowering.

Thanks + REP. Also does any one know if one 125 Watt CFL will be enough or should i add more light via power strip and y splitters?
