Help!

Hey guys. I can't get out of the house much, but I was wondering if I HAD to, would a halogen light work? And is there any household stuff I can use to cover up the smell? I don't want my room mate stealing my weed. Thanks.

Oh yeah. And on the user "dog" I saw in his sig area thing it says grow 10 pounds of skunk in 80 days in a PC case. Is this actually possible? Is it even possible to grow one or two pounds of weed in a pc case in 80 days or less?

Man, you should really spend some time here reading the forums, searching on how to do it all. Read a few grow books, etc.... Then come askin' questions.




Halogens WILL NOT WORK. If money's the issue, just get a bunch of flouros.

Smelling of the weed.....
You need:
-a two Liter Pitcher
-a desk fan that will fit on top of the pitcher
-Lysol

Take the lysol, and dilute it to one cap lysol per cup of water. Fill the pitcher halfway. Placy the deskfan(must be big enough to fit onto pitcher, a 6" usually works) blowing into the pitcher.
^^^^ This will help cover a small grow, 3-4 plants in late flower


The users signature you saw is a joke. Some say "I grew 50 LBS from 10 plants my first harvest using nothing but flouros!!!"...... it's all in good fun, but B.S.

Okay thanks. I found some Greenlite bulbs in my garage which i searched up and they turned out to be compact flourescents, but they only put out about 1600 lumens it said. Is this enough for a 2 x 2 area?

No, im sure im making enemies but cfls or compact flourescents are only good for lighting your house. Or for taking twice as long to produce half as much, but yeah sure.

Haha. Well then, what would you recommend using?

1600lum is not enough for a 4 sq ft room, you should get several such CFLs, see that you cross 5000lumen, that is about the magic number where fun starts but you really never can have enough lumen in a grow. watch out that you buy 6500K aka cool white CFLs for vegging. flowering can be done with CFLs, but it isn't the way to go. if you like to you will need also a set of 2700K/ warm white CFLs, but more then you used to veg with since in flower you need at least 20.000-40.000 lumen to get things going well, and that much is hard to reach with CFLs which only provide 60-99lim/Watt

ive got 2 100watt cfl's grow lush energy saver its called, 1 is 64k and the other 27k.
plus im gonna add some small 23 watt cfls for lower foliage, but if u see some of the posts on here, people r using like 6 cfls, and it works for them. so i reckon u should be sweet with a bunch of cfls.
