My room mate's cat got into my grow room and chewed up some of my plant's fan leaves. I am growing Auto White Russian using a hydroponic system, they're in week 4. I cut the fan leaves that were chewed up off the plant, my question is, am I good or do I need to do other things to ensure that they don't die. One of the plants was pulled completely out of the pot, I carefully placed plant back into the pot. I'm new to growing and just looking to do things right the first time around. Can anyone give me information to calm my nerves?

At week 4 they should be strong enough to pull through. Sounds like u've done all u can do, now all thats left is to keep that damn cat outta ther, lol.

the plant that was completely pulled out might become overstessed and produce less than good results, if any at all. The root system of a plant is very fragile to stress. As for the chewed leaves, I wouldn't worry about it. Outdoor plants get attacked all the time from deer and other animals. As long as the damage wasn't too severe the plant will recover in due time. The worst thing you could do at this point is try to compensate for anything, just let the plant correct itself and you'll be fine.

thank you for your words of wisdom. I'm glad to hear they SHOULD pull through other than the one pulled completely out. I will have to keep a close eye out for the one that was pulled and hope she makes it. I made sure not to do anything yet without getting advice from others. I wont do anything else except keep an eye out and keep them on their daily routine. Thank you for the speedy help everyone.
