I bought some boom nutes for the flowering stage when should I start giving that?
Do not wait until after the stretch to start some bloom nutes. I add a half dose of Big Bud a week before flipping and the other half at the flip then keep using it about half as much as they say on the tub until the end of week 5.

The stretch is a big growth spurt so the plant can use everything like more light, higher temps and CO2 to take advantage of that then back to
regular feeding rates with accent on bloom nutes after the stretch as things slow down then and feeding drops to normal.

I've done side-by-sides a few times and 'priming the pump' with early bloom nutes/booster got me better results each time. Lot more bud sites and buds the size of golf balls at day 21 from the flip.

Don't go overboard but around a 25% higher ppm or amount of feed will rock them better for that period.

Have y’all heard of or used this? Got it off amazon
Big Bud contains bioactive ingredients, Sulfur, Potassium, Phosphorus, Absorbic Acid, Citric Acid. We have less phosphorus compared to competitors, but we increase potassium (helps absorption in the root zone during the flowering cycle).

Basically sound like potassium sulfate and some citric acid. Would be similar. K,and S are both needed for terps and the citric is a chelating agent. It has a little P in it too. Basically overpriced stuff in a pretty bottle is what Big Bud is.

Well damn I always pick the wrong shit. I bought a small bottle just in case I was wrong yall help me out flipping to flower Sunday what do I need to get
You're growing in coco so I'll leave it to these guys to recommend something cheaper like Jacks or something. I'm gonna try GH when I try coco for the first time. I have the stuff just haven't done it yet.

Dry stuff like Dr. Earth or BAS Craft Blend, or that kinda stuff are easy dry amendments you can top dress with. There's bottles too. I used the Earth Juice stuff my first grow and it wasn't the tastiest bud I've ever had but it's more work to mix it and bubble it first. I basically made teas with it each time I fed with a handful of EWC too.

If it was me I'd get some dry fertilizer and some EWC. That's all you really need. You just have to give a little topdress every couple weeks. And plain water.

That 'shit' is the best bud booster I've ever used but I buy the powder form of it as it has a lot longer shelf life. I hate flowering without it and the warrior forgot to mention the 20 amino acids that are also in there.

If you're flipping to flower on Sunday give your plants a half dose of it right now and watch the buds start showing up fast a week or so into the stretch. By the time the stretch is over you should have buds the size of ping-pong balls and lots of them.

Other than the AN Rhino Skin, Big Bud is the only AN supplement I've found worthy of spending my money on. I've tried a bunch of other ones over the years and none made any noticeable difference other than those two. I only used the Rhino in DWC as most soils have some naturally.

I've used BB since Dr. Hornby invented it while working for AN. Then he left and Big Mike kept the formula. It has improved over the years to the mix it is now.

Give the other half of the dose when you flip or as close to that when you next need to water them. You got it now so might as well give it a good try. Don't dump lots in as you just want a bit of a boost over what you have in there already for P + K from your regular nutes. The added sulphur is what helps plump up the resin glands and is the 'secret ingredient' in a lot of bloom boosters. K is more important than P after the stretch and why it's higher in K than P. The powder version's NPK is 0-15-35, 10%S so a lot more concentrated. Too much N in later flowering retards bud growth and why it's not in BB.

Obviously it works for forming big buds ;)
It does do that. I ran a few side-by-sides over the years and the difference is starkly noticeable. Even the odours are more enhanced.

When you're growing in real soil that has a lot of those ingredients already in it you probably wouldn't see all that much difference if you added it but in DWC or hydro nutes in a soilless medium the plants aren't getting all those goodies unless we give it to them and that's where it really shines.

I do wish AN would supply all their stuff in powdered form. Shipping bottles of mostly water up north here isn't cheap so I do my shopping for stuff like that on rare trips to the big cities. I'm stocked up with so much stuff including organics I could open a hydro store for a while. :D

Ya, I just copied and pasted the ingredients that AN listed. Do you see the actual ingredients on the tub?
