help!

Asked about excess nitrogen and potential clawing of my plant. Now I’m starting to see some leaf damage & not sure of the cause (if it’s PH) or something else.

My ph is @ 5.6 just fed this morning & checked my runoff ph I don’t add nutes for it to be that high in N. I don’t get it

First time I got run off after flushing was 5.6 now it’s saying the ph is 4.8 ‍♂ how long until I really start getting into problems & worrying about plant health?

Looks fine to me.

Slight N tox is no problem in veg. Not wanted in mid/late flower though!!!

It’s just a warning sign (no more N!!)

That's really low pH... what soil and what are you watering at? Is your pH meter well calibrated? I think your real problem is less pH though and probably was more related to your EC.
I think it is too idk why it’s so low I use a mix of Fox farm soil & coco when I do my slurry test it’s 5.5-6.1 but when I did a test on my run off it was real low

That’s the thing I don’t give nutes it’s all soil so far so it gotta be ph right?
I honestly don't know what you get with a soil/coco mix. I do know that FFOF is known for being a 'hot' soil with lots of nutrients...but I'd still try to get a handle on the pH situation. Soil grows you want in that 6-7pH range and Coco is more of a 5.8. The plants don't look terrible but do look dark.

Quit phing your water way to low and quit reading runoff water.Your watering way too much if you have runoff.Do your plants a favor and leave them be.Go do something else to keep busy.

I used the coco for the perlite & better drainage it was more like 25% coco 75% FF AND no everyone I know who grows says they look great & healthy just really green.. like the plant grows a ton still it’s just the leaves curl & the dark green plus the burns I seen pop up this wk; so I’m like wtf I’m 5 wks in 1 wk until I start to enter blooming too smh

Are you using pH down? What is your water source? When was the last time you calibrated your pH meter?
I calibrate it everytime I have both ph up & down I haven’t used any in a few wks everytime I did a slurry test I was in range of the ph.. today I tried testing the run off & was getting a real low number after I flushed it. No nutes have been added in theses 5 wks only soil & water my water ph is a consistent 6 to 6.2

I don’t ph my water I flushed myeoil that’s why I had a good bit of run off water and I wanted to test it.. usually I don’t water to run off I have fabric pots & my soils mixed with coco to retain water & better drainage

I must have misread, anyway, measuring runoff ph isnt a true reading of soil pH.So dont worry about it.

What kind of water you are watering? Do you know the mineral contents? Such low PH lower than 5.5 is a sign they liming agents (calmag) all have been used up.

Check this out:

Edit: dont try the2 tablespoons per pot.... if you try that, dilute it in water first and start low, maye with "teaspoons". It is pretty powerfull stuff in raising pH (dolomite).
