How do I let my soil dry out faster in between waterings. It's growing really well but could be doing better. 31 days into flower

You could have left the power plant of the weed (leaves) on it
Now it has less foliage and needs less water

grow in fabric pots for one. Secondly, that pruning is a bit much. Really sacrificing yield there.
