thanks i appreciate it, would perilite be a good choice to mix with FF, say 50/50 for extra moisture control? and when i transplant tonight, do you recommend adding any ferts to the 3 plants I am having troubles with and the 5 sprouts or should i leave it alone for awhile and just see if a transplant works?
I dont know if this was covered already, but no, I would not use any ferts whan transplanting, I would use only clean water such as distiled. Wait until it has time to get settled before feeding. It has enough green on it to feed itself during this time. Also , keep it in a mild temp, not in hot sun, you will know pretty fast if it will make it, after a couple days give it a mild feed.

what are your thoughts on maybe a little superthrive being added to the plants after transplant? the bottle makes it look like a frickin' cure-all that can be used on anything from seeds to an apple orchard...

and when i do transplant how:confused: I mean do i just brush off the MG soil make a hole and drop the roots in doesnt that hurt/shock the plant im a noobie sorry if its a dumb Q but i heard/read the less shock a plant gets the better chance on getting a female.

i like to get the plant pretty dry and kinda flip it over and catching it in between my fingers, enough shitty MG should just fall off and once transplanted should get dissolved away pretty quick. I dont know about stress and male/female, all sounds kinda sounds like wives tales to me. I think someone above said to flick some of the dirt away from the exposed roots near the bottom of em, sounds right to me...

There are 2 theroies on this one. Some will say just remove the plant and go with scuffing the bottom roots. Some will say you should rinse the entire root ball in ph water. I have done both but the entire rinse can be difficult. In this situation I would do all the flushing in the original pot then 2 days later remove the entire ball and transplant it. I am assuming the roots ball has filled the entire old pot otherwise just be carefull and if the ball isnt so big just lightly remove whatever falls off dirt wise.

should it be watered after the flushing and in between the 2 days or should it be as dry as possible? I guess what i'm really getting after is what is the ideal moisture level for the soil to be at when diggin' the suckers out, i'm getting that maybe somewhat damp is best so as to leave a decent amount of soil still around the roots?

hey whats up fauxshoo2 i notice something about MG soil vs fox farm soil ingerdinets my Mg soil/nutes doesnt have near as many as fox farm soil/nutes MG soil/nute r missing magnesium /boron /copper etc... Mg soil/nutes only have N-P-K. so i was thinking that u dont have to realy transplant to ff soil but maybe add these ingerdinets.
Im gonna try to work it out with the MG soil and add ff nutes that have all the needed ingerdinets to help my babies grow right

but for sure this is my 1st time & last time useing MG hope this works hate to lose my frist grow to MG soil

Let the plant dry out because when you flush it you want to flood it real good water pouring out the soil so it will nedd some time to dry. Dont let it go bone dry by anymeans if by chance it drys out then transplant it before you see any wilt. My prefered soil when I grow has always been Miracle Grow Moisture control. Its build up is different then all thier other soils its just a hot mix so you can not add nutes til bloom or 2 months. Has to be wtaered with ph 7 water exactly or burn and lock out can happen. I have a few threads showing a grow or 2 using it as there was a debate if you could use any MG soil so I had to show yes but only MG moisture control..Heres a shot of the smaller buds from my last MG moisture control grow..
