Help!! Yellowing Lower Leaves and Brown Spots. See Pictures!

Hello,

I am new to the growing community, and have recently started two cheese autoflowers. I have been doing a lot of reading on the site and have discovered many newbie mistakes that i have made along the way so i understand my grow might be less than ideal, but here are the details. First of all, they are planted in a mix of 50% Miracle Grow Potting Soil, and 50% an equal part mix of perlite, vermiculte, and peat moss. I know my growing medium is probably not the best but I blindly followed a friend's suggestion on the matter. I am growing in a double Rubbermaid setup lined with emergency blankets (thought it was Mylar) where temperatures range from 79-90 degrees (Usually a maximum of 86 with an occasional 90...I know it is too hot but I am currently building a box with much better ventilation to transfer them to asap.) I am running on three 42watt CFLs, and two 26watt CFLS.

Anyways, Tomorrow makes my little girls 3 weeks old and I am starting to notice major problems. The lower few sets of leaves are turning yellow and brown spots are developing on several leaves generally not concentrated on the tips. In fact some of these spots have actually developed into holes within the leaves and in one case the tip of the leaf completely fell off. The top leaves are generally unaffected with the exception of a few light spots. I have a feeling that the yellowing might be due to a nitrogen deficiency, but have no idea what is causing the brown spots and holes in the leaves. After reading all of the warnings about miracle grow soil I have not fed them anything but tap water (after sitting out to allow Cl to dissipate) up to this point. I was planning to get some bloom nutes once they go into flower but not really sure what to get. Should I just go to the store and buy some sort of Nitrogen to start before I can make it up to the hydro store 40 miles away??

Any help would be much apreciated! I read the stickys and tried to self diagnose, but I am just not sure what the problem is as it seems like it might be a combination of things.

Also, This is my first grow so any tips would be much appreciated!

Pot is too small, because of this salts have now built up in there and the ph is out now probably too high. Repot and monitor the ph in future , I use canna nutes every watering and the ph buffers close to 6.5 every time. At harvest i have big sticky buds oozing resin with green leaves top to bottom.

I thought that you aren't supposed to repot autoflowers. If thats the case, do you have any suggestions on how i can make due with the 8inch pots I have for the rest of the grow?

Thanks for all the help guys!

They are currently planted in clay pots that have a 2 inch diameter hole in the bottom with substantial root mass hanging out. Is this hole large enough to solve my problem if i just plant the whole pot into a larger one with more soil??

Also, do you all think they are fine on Nutes, or do they look deprived in that department as well???

I have a cheap pH/moisture meter (not sure how accurate it is) that says the pH is between 6-7.....

Alright, I hope I didn't mess this up... I put the pots inside of another pot with more soil to give the plants a little more room to grow. Hopefully the small 2 inch opening is enough to give them what they need. Could someone please verify that what i did is alright before it is too late! Also, If anyone could suggest any nutrients that I can feed my plant that would be much appreciated!! I am not really sure what to do seeing as how they are in 50% MG soil that has time released nutes, but obviously my plants look like they could be fed...

My plants keep getting worse by the day!!! Can someone PLEASE help me! I am going to the hydro store this afternoon to pick up a few things... An suggestions of what might help?? I have no idea how to fix the problem of salt build up if that is what the issue is.. What should i do??? Based on what i have read around the forum it looks to me like possibly nitrogen or magnesium deficiency due to pH and watering issues....I am going to lowes right now to buy a better pH test kit. Should I buy pH up/down at the hydro shop to fix whatever my problem seems to be? I am a completely new to all this and i am afraid my plants are going to die because they looks worse every time i look at them.. If someone experienced could please give me there input that would be much appreciated!!!

Alright... So i put the pots into larger pots (That are not clay) with more soil and went to the store and bought fox farm nutes and fox farm ocean forest soil (for the future). I watered heavily yesterday with a low dose of nutes and hopefully this is enough for my plants to recover. However, as time progresses they continue to look worse with more and more yellowing of the leaves working up the plant from the bottom up. I've been doing a lot of research on deficiencies and It really looks like nitrogen deficiency so hopefully adding some could fix this. I know you guys say it is my pot size but i have seen people successfully grow autos is much smaller pots (I mean what do they do with a PC grow?).... Anyways, what can i do to fix my problem given my current situation?? What should I do if there is a salt buildup as suggested above?? Should I flush?? Will they live??? PLEASE HELP!!!Also, I bought another soil pH test kit that shows my pH being close to 7.. (not much different than what my meter was telling me)

make sure to rip off 30-40% of the root ball when your transplanting as well so you can allow the roots to grow

Alright, I really didn’t want to transplant seeing how they are autos, but hopefully it will be alright as long as I give them an extra few days to flower. I will go and get some larger plastic pots tonight… Any suggestions on size 1.5-2 gal or more?? Also, now that I have the FF ocean forest soil should I transplant into that medium or keep it the same with more miracle grow?? And one more question, do you think biotone would help with the transplant?

i run my autos in a 5 gallon pot from the begining for maximum results but you could probably use a 3 gallon
