Help with this first plant please? Jack Herer

This is my first success (hoping). I have questions about this plant and harvesting. I have read a lot and watched a lot of vids but nevertheless questions remain.
In my mind, possibly due to pictures giving an illusion, I thought that the buds would be much larger. I think we are about 1 week away from harvest, maybe 2.
  1. So this first question is just about size of buds. In the first photo, the very top is about 1 inch across. The lower noted section is about 1.5 inches. I am just wondering if these are relatively small buds or similar to what other see? Or perfectly normal
  2. The second question is The second picture is from an advertisement for the same strain (Jack Herer). The bud in the picture is so full. Are buds always that full, at harvest? Is it necessary for a bud to be that full to have any usefulness (potency)? Fullness relevant?
  3. The last question is about the smaller buds nearer to the bottom 3rd photo. Should these be harvested also, or tossed?
  4. Any reason to separate the big from the small for the purpose of categorizing anything, like potential affect?

You've got WAY longer than a week or 2 to go. Don't base your harvest on "breeder times" that's all sales pitch, let the plant tell you when it's done.
What your seeing is the difference in phenotypes, environment etc, your plants may not look like the plant pictured, once again, sales pitch IMO
It's all up to you what you want to do with the lower stuff, no need to toss it, dry it, cute it smoke it, make hash, rosin press it, etc
And who knows about "potential effect" every grow is different, you may find that the lowers could be better than the cola, depends on how YOUR body reacts, personally, I chop everything down to nuggets and jar it up, grab some, smoke. It's all up to you.
Plant looks good, just don't jump on the scissor wagon too soon.

I won't be cutting it down now :). I rely on this forum and you generous peeps to help me decide what to do. There is only one thing I know for sure and that is, I don't know what to do. Thanks for the feedback!!

So today I went to straight water (normally a feed day)... should I go ahead and keep feeding next time? Feeding about once a week on a FF schedule at 60%. I was stopping feeding to start flush but it sounds like that is way early after what you said.
"Flushing" a very debated topic. I personally have never flushed any of my plants, I taper the nutes down later in flower, but never flush them.

That site you posted above, is very helpful for where I am in learning about this. Makes it much clearer.
