So I am looking to set up a small grow,
I want to use a 4x8 tent with 2 1000watt hps with cool tubes.
I had some questions I need help with..

1. Can I run 2 1000watt hps on 1 breaker?
2. will I need an AC unit?
3. Can I bring in cold air from outside, instead of using an a/c unit? (winter time in the north east, VERY cold) Or is the temperature to unpredictable?

My goal is to produce 3lb every 2 month, I have 2, 3x3 tents for veg, I will only be using the big tent for flowering.

Do u have any successful grows under your belt already? If not try to start small, get ur feet wet first and then think big. GL

1. What size breaker? And what else is on the circuit?

2. You could vent from outside with a fan on thermostatic controlled outlet instead of AC. Can't speak for its reliability but certainly more cost effective to run than AC

15A or 20A breaker? No circuit should be loaded past 80% of its rated capacity to allow a cushion for start up draw/etc. So no more than 16A of equipment on a 20A circuit. 1000W lights run around 9A ea, or 18A for 2. That will be pushing the capacity of a 20A circuit. If you staggered the startup of your lights by a min or two, you could probably get away with it, but NOTHING else should go on that circuit.

If its a 15A breaker, you can run 1 1000W, plus have about 4A of capacity for a fan, pump, etc.
